On Thursday we had delicious maple pancakes for breakfast. Then we went to an assembly about recycling. Don't forget to recycle. Then we read some of Buttermilk Hill, and it was fantastic. I love it! Next we went to computer lab, and it was fun. We went to recess and then lunch. After lunch we changed classes for enrichment. Afterwards we did a workbook page for social studies and then planted some seeds in our ecocolumns.

On Friday we took all of our tests. We took some social studies notes and planted some more seeds in our ecocolumns. We put in our isopods, but our crickets were dead. We had a late recess because we took pictures during our regular recess time.

We did Fantastic Five for morning work and then went over it. We went over our math homework and did a sheet with subtracting decimals. We were going to watch Today in History, but it did not have any sound. We went to computer lab and then took some social studies notes. Next we went to recess and then went to lunch. We had a chicken patty. It tasted delicious. We changed classes for enrichment. It was fun! We received our animals for our ecocolumns. We put in our elodea, duckweed, algae, fish, and snails. We had to observe everything and write down our observations. Science was really FUN!

Today we ate a good breakfast. It was a muffn and a yogurt and juice. Then during math we did adding and subtracting decimals. Then we did ELA . We had to do a compound sentences sheet. Then we went to P.E. It was fun. We came back and we started on S.S. Then we wrote our S.S notes. Then we went to recess. It was a lot of fun . Then we came back in and then we went to lunch. We had a good Hotdog and milk and a fruit . We came back from lunch and we studied about ecosystems. We are going to work in a group to make a poster about an ecosystem. That was our great day.

To start the day we did a math worsheet. For breakfast we had breakfast bites and apple jucie to drink. After P.E. we had our Quiz on lesson three in S.S. It was front and back. For lunch we had BBQ sandwiches, grapes, beans, and tater tots. Ms. Malone had some writing conferences to go over some of our papers about our summer. We switched classes for enrichment. In Science we reviewed Unit 1 lessons 1 and 2. We started lesson 3 about the characteristics of ecosystems.
What a fabulous day in fifth grade!

We had share time, and then took our tests. Our first test was math. After the math test we read Buttermilk Hill. Then we took our science quiz and stem test. For activity, we went to the computer lab. When we came back, we took some social studies notes. Then we went to recess and then lunch. For lunch we had chicken patty, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, fruit, cornbread, and milk. We look at some pictures about Washington, D.C. and then it was time to go home. Wha a spectacular day!!!

Today we had pizza bagels for breakfast. We did Fantastic Five #3 for morning work and went over it. We went over our math homework and worked in groups on decimal place value. Ms. Malone read a chapter of Buttermilk Hill and then we updated our class blog. We worked on our writing topic about our summer. For activity we went to guidance, and we had a lot of fun. We took a quiz in social studies and started talking about our Washington, D.C. projects. We had inside recess and then went to lunch. For lunch we had turkey sandwiches which were delicious. We changed classes for enrichment and then read over lesson 2 in science. We learned about biotic and abiotic factors in an ecosystem. Our day was fun today.
